WRC founded in Leipzig
The company starts with the goal of developing innovative solutions for industrial residues.
1999
Production starts in Wurzen
Commissioning of the first plant stage with a production volume of 15,000 t/a.
2000
International expansion
Opening of the Paris marketing office for the French and Belgian markets.
2001
Quality assurance
Initial certification as a specialist waste management company and according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
2002
Capacity expansion
Second production line goes into operation, increasing capacity to 30,000 t/a.
2003
Global presence
New offices in England and Italy as well as expansion of the company site.
2008
Further growth
Construction of the third production plant in Wurzen and increase to 45,000 t/a.

Sustainability initiatives
Rainwater utilisation system and photovoltaic installation go into operation.

Opening of the Barcelona marketing office.
